Elena grew up surrounded by the powerful architecture of eastern Europe, and experienced first-hand how scale and materiality can strongly affect individuals, environments, and cultural meanings.
Elena joined Shift in 2012, fresh out of BCIT’s Architectural Science Degree program. Since then, she has collaborated on a wide range of Shift’s design projects. Elena brings to the table a voice for sustainable urban design, with a solid understanding of emerging construction processes and building technologies.
Elena thrives in Shift’s collaborative environment, energized by the ever-expanding ideas and opportunities that surround her. Through her passion, her holistic perspective, and her rich technical skill, she makes key contributions to many of Shift’s most exceptional projects.
