MacLure House

CLIENT POLYGON HOMES INC.

As the final project in Polygon's Quilchena Park development, the detailing of MacLure House uses reinterpretations of elements derived from the historic architecture of Samuel MacLure to connect this project to the existing built landscape and neighbourhood. Historical references to MacLure's architecture include: granite, sawn shingles, and board & batten siding. Designed to be warmly appealing, a prominent feature of this project is the classically proportioned and carefully crafted pergola that extends from the building lobby to the street, and welcomes residents and visitors into the building.
