To meet passenger projections for 2023 a sophisticated expansion was required at Regina Airport to accommodate the following: expanded in-bound baggage and passenger arrivals areas, international arrivals and inspection areas plus improvements to the outbound baggage and security infrastructure. The terminal expansion provides a dramatic aesthetic takeoff from the last series of additions, a striking new form where old meets new. Sculpted in reference to the sky, the abundantly glazed roof plane opens wing-like, appearing to catch the jets stream. Arriving passengers are also impressed by the heart of the airport, a dramatic sundial feature over the spectacular arrivals hall.
