To create the first building on the new UFV campus in Chilliwack, this project included renovation of several existing steel frame structures, the addition of a two-storey library block and three-storey office block, plus town square and atrium spaces. The LEED Gold targeted design showcases BC wood while offering effective connective and study spaces to facilitate a wide variety of UFV programs (health sciences, aboriginal studies, teacher education, dental) and amenities (library, classrooms, bookstore, dry and wet labs, food services, theatre, student services, faculty offices). The integrated structures also act as gateway to the new multi-phased Canada Education Park campus.
