Bahram Shokouhian
Senior Architectural Designer

Bahram is a Senior Designer at SHIFT Architecture with over two decades of experience leading the award-winning practice Padiav Parth Architects in Tehran. Educated at the University of Tehran, his work is grounded in the belief that architecture should respond to the specific context of each project—avoiding predetermined aesthetics in favor of ideas shaped by site, culture, and collaboration. Bahram’s approach balances creativity and technical rigor, with notable projects including four pro bono schools designed for charitable foundations, two of which received Memar Awards for their thoughtful design and social impact. Beyond his built work, he has contributed to architectural discourse through teaching at Azad University, publishing books on leading Iranian architects, and co-founding CineArch, a platform exploring the intersection of architecture and film. A longtime member of the Iranian Architects Society, Bahram brings a culturally rooted design sensibility and a wealth of experience to every project he undertakes.
