Goli is an Architectural Designer at SHIFT Architecture with a background in structural engineering, holding degrees from UBC, the Architectural Association in London, and Harvard GSD. She began her career working on complex international projects, including serving as the structural engineering consultant for the KAFD Metro Station façade in Riyadh, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. Her work explores cultural narratives, material research, and historical reconstruction through an interdisciplinary lens. Goli has taught design studios at the Architectural Association in London and UBC SALA, where students explored textiles, mapping, and storytelling in architecture. Originally from Iran, she has lived and worked in London, Boston, Berlin, and Vancouver—and finds home not in one place, but wherever her cat curls up on a Persian carpet.
