Originally built as the sales center for the River District development, this pavilion introduced the architectural character of the emerging waterfront community. A folded metal entrance canopy and exposed heavy timber framing evoke the area’s industrial past while setting a contemporary tone for future buildings. Located along the Fraser River, the structure blends robust materials with a bold form, symbolizing the transformation of the site from working waterfront to vibrant residential hub. Though temporary in nature, the pavilion established a strong architectural identity for the new neighborhood.
