With a Master’s of Architecture degree from Tehran’s Azad University, Shadi, (a second generation architect) grew up in a world filled with intricate detail and undulating curves, built with traditional methods and materials. Experiencing the striking contrast of West Coast conditions, materials, and construction techniques ignited a passion for building science and materials innovation in Shadi, that drives her to continually explore new solutions to our regional building challenges.

Committed to Shift’s vision of creating beautiful liveable buildings, Shadi helps us get the big picture right by focussing on the details. Thriving on complexity, Shadi helps us ensure that every side, angle, and corner of a building is aesthetically and functionally resolved, and that every detail answers to codes and requirements.
